About

Sound Connections is a multidisciplinary allied health service located in the Top End, providing specialised therapies to help children reach their full potential. Our centre provides a calm, confidential and nurturing space for learning and development.

Our clinicians have a wide range of skills and experience to suit needs of all levels and complexities.

Sound Connections can provide services at our clinic in Millner or we can provide outreach services,  allowing us to provide you support in your home or school.

As each situation is different, our therapies are tailored to the requirements of the child and family. We focus on the priorities, strengths and needs of each child and the dynamic of the family unit. There may be options for either individual 1:1 therapy, group-based therapies, or both.

Our Vision

We believe that children learn best in familiar and natural environments. Consequently, our therapeutic and support services are centred around children participating in normal, everyday routines and activities and having meaningful experiences with family and carers.

Infinite opportunities for growth and development arise when support is offered in within a child and family’s natural context.  We recognise that the best natural environment differs for every child and family and adapt our support to suit individual needs and circumstances.

Our Mission

Who we are and why we exist

Our mission is to support children and families to grow, develop and connect through natural and meaningful support.
